Price Policy

MAC Law Review is a fully open-access journal. To ensure all scholarly work is permanently and freely accessible to readers worldwide, the journal implements an Article Processing Charge (APC) model to cover its operating costs.

  1. Article Processing Charge (APC)

The core publication fee for every accepted manuscript is the APC. This charge covers the costs associated with editorial management, rigorous peer review, professional copyediting, XML tagging, permanent archival, and online hosting.

Required for all accepted manuscripts for payment.  The APC is typically paid by the author, their institution, or a research funder.

Article Processing Charge (APC): £200  (British Pound)

  1. Payment and Refund Terms

Payment Methods: The total calculated amount (APC fees) must be paid via Bank Transfer.

Bank Transfer Fee: Authors are responsible for any bank fees charged by their chosen financial institution to initiate the transfer.

VAT (Value-Added Tax): Authors residing in countries where VAT is legally required must ensure the applicable VAT amount is added to the total APC and transferred accordingly.

Refund Policy: No amount will be refunded once the manuscript has been formally published (assigned to an issue and made accessible online).

We strive to maintain a fair and transparent pricing structure that facilitates the dissemination of high-quality legal and policy research globally.
